NASA and Space X to send two Astronauts to ISS from US

SpaceX will launch first US astronauts since 2011

Combination of Space X and NASA are planning to fly two Astronauts for a commercial mission after a break of nine years. Probably they are going to fly this week, and both astronauts will be registered in the books of history. It will be a historical moment for the United States of America too.

Who are the astronauts?

Two lucky astronauts who are chosen by the NASA institution are Bob Behnken and Doug Hurley. They will be the first astronauts to go to ISS, which is a commercial mission.

Nine years ago, NASA launched its space shuttle program which got halted due to unforeseen reasons. After a long gap, they will be launching a space shuttle that is developed by the Space X company.

Space X is a company founded by Elon Musk ( Owner of Tesla Company.). It is a commercial shuttle, and both of the astronauts will be the first to take the ride of this shuttle.

Space shuttle developed by Space X looks like a bus-sized capsule in reality. If this mission gets successful, then possibilities of Commercial Space travel will open up. It could be the most significant achievement in NASA’s history. The space industry will get a lot of attraction with this opportunity created by Space X company.

Elon Musk also told the media that this spaceship could include seven astronauts at a time. He named this spaceship as Space X Dragon capsule. When it comes to cost per astronaut, according to Elon Musk, the tablet costs $ 31 million per astronaut.

During the conversation, he added that at this moment, prices are secondary things, but the primary job is to check whether the space shuttle is safe for humans or not. NASA will be testing the shuttle once it is flown in the space later this week.
